Killer Whale (Orcinus orca)

description of the animal

Killer Whale (Orcinus orca)

Information:

The Killer Whale (Orcinus orca) which is also called orca, is in fact not part of the whale family. It is more of a dolphin, and by far one of the biggest. Its colour scheme and pattern is very unique and one of a kind. Their black coloured skin and white dots are very memorable.

It is found all over the world’s oceans, but prefers to stay where it is cold rather than warm.

Killer whales eat all kind of fish and sea dwellers out in the ocean. Large groups may even strike down sharks or other lager whales. They like to stay in groups, not only for hunting issues but also because they enjoy company and have a strong social attachment to their kind.
